I am able to meet with clients virtually throughout the state of California.

I may provide community-based, covid-conscious in-person sessions in the future to those who reside in the Bay Area, CA.

I meet with clients on a weekly basis, and have a 48 hour cancellation policy.

My full fee for individual therapy is $200-250 for a 50 minute session. Fees are based on length of time - I do not charge a higher rate for EMDR, ERP, or any other specializations.

I offer a limited number & range of reduced fee slots for those with lower income, with priority to BIPOC.

I currently accept the following insurance, subject to caseload availability: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Carelon, Quest, Oxford Optum, and United Healthcare Optum.

For those with insurance plans that cover out-of-network mental health providers, I am able to provide a monthly statement (or "superbill") which you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Please note that a diagnosis is required to bill through insurance .

Sliding Scale, Reduced Fees, & Redistribution:

To determine where you may fall on my fee structure, please see The Sliding Scale: A Tool for Economic Justice.

Those who have more access to wealth, privilege, & power are encouraged to pay the full fee.

Having clients who are able to pay the full fee rate enables my practice to give access to reduced fee slots for those with limited financial resources.

Sliding scale/reduced fee slots are held for those with lower income,

with priority to Black, indigenous, & people of color,

especially those who are trans femmes, disabled, undocumented, formerly incarcerated,

&/or are activists who dedicate their time & energy into unpaid movement work.

The No Surprises Act:

You have the right to receive information about the cost of therapy & to receive a good faith estimate,

which I will provide before we begin our work together.

It is my ethical responsibility to notify you that you may be able to receive more affordable care through your insurance provider.
